Demi Lovato has a very mature and "grounded" voice (idk how to describe it) most of the belting main vocalists of this generation (Yuju, Wendy to some extent, Kei, Seunghee x2, Jihyo, Siyeon, Sejeong, Yeonjung etc etc) have more "lighter" and youthful voices. So back to the topic - I'm searching for "kpop cover Heart Attack demi Lovato" because hey why not.Īnd all I get is Loona Chuu's Heart Attack and covers of that song lmaoooīut in all seriousness - why not? If y'all awesome girlies can nail the "jigeum nae anae iss↗️ eoo⬆️ ooo" in So Chan-whee's Tears (which is, cmiiw, exactly the same note as in the "flaa↘️aa↗️aa↘️aa↗️⬆️ aaames" part in Heart Attack), then why not try this, instead of the 3000th cover of the currently trending English song?īut it's not really too surprising tbh. (it's hard to explain, but just search for "Aadhara Shadja", basically our 7 notes (Sa Ri Ga Ma Pa Da Ni) are shiftable in absolute pitch - Sa is the base note and based on your pitch like 5.5 kattai (western scale G#) or 6 kattai (A) or 6.5 kattai (A#) which then becomes your Sa / base note you build all of the other notes on). Plus I'm a student of indian classical vocals where you don't need high notes as much (= i have little to no practice) because the songs adjust to your pitch and not the other way round, so I basically taught myself how to belt and do vibrato when I was a musical kid up until a few years ago. so I did lol.Īnd I failed at that one high note miserably (but not at the chorus!) because my lungs are about as big as my brain cells.which obviously doesn't really help when you need consistent breath support and □all that jazz□ to properly belt. I was alone at home and was like "vocal cords fam, y'all are in for a ride, leggooo" because I'm in a bit of stress due to finals in exactly 7 days, and I was so in need to let it out somewhere.
